Writing Clinician (part-time)
Description
As a Writing Clinician, you will provide one-on-one writing instruction at our West Houston office (Rogerdale & Richmond). Writing Clinicians will first be trained as a Reading Clinician. Our writing students must be concurrently enrolled in the reading program since writing builds on top of reading. Your work will make a positive, life-long impact on the lives of children with reading and writing difficulties.

Our program is on the cutting edge of the science of reading. Training is provided in phonologically-based explicit reading instruction. This is the instruction we used in a study with the University of Texas and National Institute of Health that demonstrated massive changes in brain function as we developed reading skills in struggling readers.
